Iraqi Minister of Planning, head of the Strategic Planning Committee for the Reconstruction of Iraq Mahdi Al-Hafez will visit the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA) at the head of a delegation made up of Iraqi officials and technical experts on Wednesday March 17, 2004.
During his visit, Al-Hafez will meet with UNESCWA Executive Secretary Mervat Tallawy and other senior officers. The meeting will be followed by a press briefing held jointly by Al-Hafez and Tallawy, during which they will discuss the results of their discussions and means of enhancing cooperation between UN ESCWA and the Iraqi Planning Ministry. — (menareport.com)
