Israel reports increased exports

Israel's industrial exports, excluding diamonds, increased by 13.9% in January-April 2004, compared with the same period last year, to $7.2 billion, the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor economics and planning division reported Tuesday. 

 

Net polished diamond exports went up by 19% in the said period to $2.15 billion. Industrial exports, including diamonds, rose by 15% in January-April 2004, compared with the corresponding period last year, to $9.4 billion.  

 

High-tech exports were up by 16.7% in January-April 2004, compared with the corresponding period last year, to $3.4 billion, 47% of total industrial exports. (menareport.com)
