Bezeq International (BI), an Israeli telecommunications service provider, and voice carrier ITXC are exchanging voice traffic to and from Israel over ITXC's global voice services network. Through its relationship with ITXC, BI benefits from ITXC's high quality and network reach in over 175 countries.
Revenue is received for completing calls in Israel, which are sent by carriers around the world and aggregated by ITXC. In addition, ITXC provides BI with low-cost, high quality call completion for international calls originated in Israel.
BI was established in 1996 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bezeq, the Israel Telecommunications Corporation, which is the country's largest telecommunications entity. In 1999 BI entered the Internet market and today, with more than 300,000 subscribers, BI is considered one of the leading ISPs in Israel. — (menareport.com)
