Japanese Machine orders fell 1.3% in March despite forecasts calling for the figure to shrink by 4.6%. Still, the figure slid for the fifth month out of the last six periods. The previous month saw the figure rise a downwardly revised 0.6%, substantially lower than initial estimated which topped 1.4%.
