Jordan’s 2002 budget allocates $776 million to defense

The Jordanian Treasury Minister, Michel Marto, stated the newly approved general budget for 2002 allocated 551 million Jordanian Dinars ($776 million) for military purposes, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awsat .
