Royal Jordanian Airlines resumed flights between Amman and Baghdad on Friday, December 14 since the suspension of the service since the September 11 attacks on the United States, confirmed Samer Majali, chairmain of the airline. Majali stated that from December 21, there would be four flights a week to the Iraqi capital.
The airline’s fleet, which flies to 47 different destinations, comprises 14 Airbus planes, half of which are leased. The airline suspended flights to the United States for five days following the September 11 attacks amid a closure of US airspace to international flights. — (menareport.com)
