Following inspection by the Swedish Medical Products Agency, the United Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company (UPMC) has proven to fulfill the demands for manufacturing of tablets according to European Union Good Manufacturing Practice (EU-GMP) and has been accepted as a pharmaceutical supplier of tablets to Sweden, a statement by UPMC said.
“We are extremely pleased that we have the GMP approval which, following normal procedure, should lead to approval for export also to other European Union countries. This positive development is the result of hard and dedicated work by the United team, which I want to congratulate to the excellent results. I also want to thank the Swedish team of experts in GMP that has assisted us. Now that we have the approval, we will start export to the European Union. Business contracts valued at $15 million for United are already in place,” said Munjed Sukhtia, chairman of UPMC. ― (Jordan Times)
