Sources in the Jordanian Cement Factories Company reported that the Jordanian government will soon resume negotiations with representatives of the Palestinian Authority to sell the its stake holdings in the company, reported Al Hayat. These negotiations were halted due to the outbreak of the Uprising (Intifada) in the Palestinian Authority. The unpleasant circumstances interrupted the ongoing negotiations between the two parties. Nevertheless, the Jordanian government is still determined to sell its remaining 14 percent stake holdings in the company to the Palestinian Authority. — (menareport.com)
