The Jordanian Phosphate Company expects an increase in its exports of phosphate by 34% during this year to reach 4.9 million tons compared to 3.6 million tons in 2003. The positive projection is based on an improvement in prices by 3.5 $ per ton.
According to Petra, the company expected a higher increase but due to changes in the international
markets the values and quantities of sales tuned down. (menareport.com)
