Jordan-based Aqaba Development Company (ADC) said some 80 percent of the infrastructure work has been completed at its new terminal located in a major coastal city in the kingdom.

The Aqaba terminal project is on schedule for completion by the beginning of next year, reported The Jordan Times.

The scheme is one of several envisioned terminals that aim to attract new investments and factories to help achieve economic growth for the kingdom, it added.
