Americans for Peace Now (APN) revealed on Thursday that hard-line peace opponents protesting the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks at Camp David have posted a new game to their web site that includes incitement to violence against Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

Representatives of Kahane Chai-a group listed on the State Department's terrorist list-participated in Monday's anti-peace demonstration at Camp David, and the Kahanists announced plans to return to Camp David on Thursday.

The Kahanist web site (http://www.kahane.org), which for several weeks has featured two games attacking Prime Minister Ehud Barak, now has a game called Welcome Arafat 1.0. The cover graphic for the game shows a hand holding a pistol pointed at Arafat. Once the game begins, a scrolling message denounces both Barak and Arafat, and says that “there are other ways to welcome the Palestinian leader to the Holy Land.” Then the game begins. As a timer ticks away the seconds, a pop-up target profile of Arafat appears along the bottom of the screen. Players clicking on the target hear a gun shot ring out and see a red "hit" graphic appear on the target, indicating that another "point" has been scored. At the end of the game, players are encouraged to try harder next time.

According to Debra DeLee, President and CEO of Americans for Peace Now, "The Kahanist protesters and their allies at Camp David represent the extreme fringe of American Jewish society and in no way reflect mainstream thinking in our community. Their only contribution to an already delicate situation in the Middle East and at the peace negotiations in the U.S. is to encourage violence against both Israeli and Palestinian leaders. Incitement to violence is a sure recipe for continued conflict and must be rejected." -- Albawaba.com
