Professor Thomas J. Vogl, Chairman of the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology – Germany, will be speaking during the Arab Health 2005 Imaging and Diagnostic Congress on the 15th of February at 10:15am in the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.  Kodak’s Health Group, a business unit of Eastman Kodak Company and a world leader in innovative medical imaging services, has invited Professor Vogl to address the importance of digital technology and more importantly, digital X-ray imaging in our lives.

Professor Vogl will focus on digital X-ray imaging and will explain how implementing flat-panel detectors and the digital integration of this technique can lead to a shortening of the image production process by more than 30% and to an improvement in the image quality and dose reduction potentials.

“The healthcare industry has grown tremendously in the region and as sponsors of the Arab Health 2005 Congress we felt the importance of showcasing our latest technology, and also to contribute to members of the medical community by inviting Professor Vogl to offer his expertise and insight,” commented Millan Alvarez-Miranda, Regional Business General Manager, Vice President, Kodak’s Health Group Europe, Africa and Middle East Region region.
