A recently released report shows that Kuwait's general budget recorded a KD 5.6 billion ($19.15 billion) surplus in the first nine months of the current fiscal year. According to Al-Yaum newspaper, the general budget recorded a KD 10 billion revenues volume in the said period, a 53% rise compared with the same period in the previous year.
Meanwhile, the general budget recorded a KD 3.46 billion expenditures volume in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, a 5.8% rise compared with the same period in the previous year.
