The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development recently signed an agreement with the Republic of Mali. The Fund will grant Mali a three million Kuwaiti Dinar ($75.9 million) loan to finance the second phase of the Kimasina agricultural project, reported Addustour. The project aims to expand rice farming and improve the living conditions in Kimasina area of eastern Mali. The Foreign Affairs Minister of Mali and the Vice President of the Kuwaiti Fund signed this loan agreement. — (menareport.com)
