Sources at the Qatari Ministry of Energy and Industry revealed that the Kuwait Minister of Oil, Adel Al-Sabih, is scheduled to visit Doha tomorrow, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awast . The Kuwaiti Minister will sign a bilateral memorandum of understanding with the Qatari Minister of Energy and Industry, Abdullah Al-Attiya, to purchase gas from the State of Qatar. Kuwait will purchase 950 million cubic feet of dried Qatari gas per day. Kuwait will use the gas to operate electricity generating stations and waster desalinizing stations. The gas will be supplied through an 800- kilometer long pipeline from the Qatari Ras Laffan area to the Kuwait Al-Ahmadi seaport. — (menareport.com)
