The managing director of Kuwait's United Real Estate Company (UREC), Omran Habib Hayat on Wednesday announced that UREC was planning to build two huge towers worth a total of KD 50 million.
In a news statement he made, following a UREC general assembly meeting, he predicted that one of the two towers would be 40-storey high while the other would be 20-storey. He added that the project would be located in the Sharq neighborhood, "near the Al-Shaheed (martyr) tower." Hayat said that UREC was building a modern hotel in the Lebanese mountain village of Bhamdoun, "which would be ready in May or June." As for the other construction project in the Beirut seaside neighborhood of Rawshe, "it will be completed by 2007."
