Kuwaitis seek Middle East expansion at the Big 5 Exhibition

Kuwaiti exhibitors at the Big 5 construction and contracting exhibition currently under way at the Dubai International Exhibition Center (DIEC), have outlined expansion plans to spread their business interests throughout the Middle East. 

 

Safat’s Hassan Abul Group, which manufactures doors, wardrobes and its Mirwar range of kitchens in Kuwait said its long-term strategy includes a factory at a free zone in Dubai. The Group is now planning to expand its Big 5 participation next year.  

 

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s Inds Metal Center, which operates two factories in the country, is making its UAE exhibition debut at Big 5, which runs at the DIEC until Wednesday night. The company, which has operated in Kuwait for 35 years, says its now looking to explore expansion opportunities in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). 

 

Big 5 2002 is the largest in the exhibition’s long history. It features 1,048 exhibitors representing 1,610 companies from 52 countries, including 22 national pavilions. — (menareport.com)
