The total value of land transactions in Dubai Sunday amounted to Dhs63.97 millions, of which sales exceeded Dhs50 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs13.6 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 11 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Barsha First that was sold for Dhs23.08197 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Second acquired for the sum of Dhs5.2 million and another in Um Al Sheif for Dhs5.175 million.
The Al Barsha Second area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 2 transactions. Al Waheda followed it with 2 sales.
During the period, Al Barsha First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs23.08 million, followed by the Al Barsha Second area, Dhs7.08 million, and Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs5.2 million.
The biggest area sold was the 29288.6 sq ft in the Emirates Hills Second area, which went for Dhs5.2 million. A 26531 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha First Area was acquired for Dhs23.08 million, while 22500 sq ft of Um Al Sheif was disposed of for Dhs5.18 million.
During the period under review 5 mortgages worth Dhs13.6 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs4.6 million for an area at Al Baraha. There was another for Dhs4 million on an area in Nad Al Shiba Fourth and a further sum of Dhs2.5 million registered on an area of land sold in Mardaf.
