Land transactions in Dubai

The total value of land transactions in Dubai yestarday amounted to Dhs109.55 millions  million, of which sales exceeded Dhs102 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs7.78 million, according to the Land Department .
                                                                       
A total of 8 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Port Saeed that was sold for Dhs60 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Emirates Hills Second acquired for the sum of Dhs25.99362 million and another in Mardaf for Dhs7 million .
                                                                       
The Al Bada area was the most active in terms of yastarday sales, with some 1 transactions. Al Mezhar First followed it with 1 sales .
                                                                       
During  the period, Port Saeed recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs60 million, followed by the Emirates Hills Second area, Dhs25.99 million, and Mardaf area, Dhs7 million .
                                                                       
The biggest area sold was the 49989 sq ft in the Emirates Hills Second area, which went for Dhs25.99 million. A 21270 sq ft plot in the Port Saeed Area was acquired for Dhs60 million, while 15000 sq ft of Al Mezhar First was disposed of for Dhs3.83 million .
                                                                       
During the period under review 2 mortgages worth Dhs4.78 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs3.98 million for an area at Al Mezhar First. There was another for Dhs3 million on an area in Al Bada and a further sum of Dhs.8 million registered on an area of land sold in Nad Al Hamar.
