Fourteen Tunisian companies, headed by the country’s Minister of Telecommunications, Ahmad Friaa, will participate at ARABCOM 2001.
The 4th annual Arab International Telecom Development Congress and Exhibition for the Arab States and the Middle East, organized by HITEK magazine and The Xperimental group, will be held under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, with the participation the Minister of Post and Telecom Jean Louis Cordahi and the support of Lebanon’s OGERO.
The congress will be held in the Phoenicia Inter-Continental Hotel in Beirut between 1-3 March 2001 and the ARABCOM Exhibition will be held in Beirut Hall from 1- 4 March 2001.
Following the fruitful participation of five Tunisian companies at the ARABCOM 2000, Tunisian companies are returning very strongly this year, according to the event’s organizers.
The Tunisian pavilion will include Archimed (Radhia Telecom Services), Tunisian Imternet Agency, BFI Group (Research and Studies Telecommunications Center), CERT Netcom Omniacom (Société d’Ingénierie Informatique et de Communication), MASH (Maison Arabe de Software et de Hardware), MRS (Multimédia Ressources Systems), and Tunisie Télécom. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
