Since its establishment in 1958, the firm has always worked to promote development in all the markets within which it operates. In this regard, Jordan is one of the markets where there is high demand for LGE’s products, and where they enjoy a good reputation for their quality and durability.

We strive to further strengthen the bonds we hold with Jordanian organizations, and we hope to achieve this goal by training young individuals and by introducing them to the latest that LGE has to offer.”
Mr. Osama Al Khalili, Board Chairman of the Middle East Complex (MEC), an agent of LGE products, used the visit as an opportunity to provide the Prime Minister with an overview of MEC’s achievements since its establishment. His presentation served to highlight the strong relationship that MEC holds with LGE, a firm that has 77 factories around the world, 27 research and development centers, and that employs over 72 thousand individuals.
From his end, Mr. Ghazi Farouq, Assistant Managing Director at MEC, also spoke candidly about the strong bonds that MEC holds with LGE; he said “We at MEC make it our mission to support LGE in its quest for promoting economic and social development in Jordan. Through our collaboration with LGE, we at MEC work in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision for promoting economic integration in ways that bring about global economic development.”
It is worth mentioning that LGE is currently working on implementing a comprehensive strategy that is geared towards enhancing its position in the global market and especially in the markets of the Middle East. The firm is currently working on enhancing the level of productivity seen in its factories around the world. It is to achieve this goal by developing its human resources and by furnishing its industrial outlets with the latest technological developments needed for this purpose.
Commenting further on the firm’s involvement in local markets, Mr. T.Y. Lee, General Manager of the LGE Amman Branch, said “LGE sees itself as a key promoter of economic development. This is why the firm always strives to be a key market player on a global scale. In Jordan, it is our top priority to respond to the demands of consumers, as we are very much aware of the investment opportunities that the Jordanian market has to offer. We appreciate the efforts made by the Jordanian government to encourage investment, and we understand the benefits that such encouragement will bring for both our firm and the national economy at large. LGE intends to participate in developing the local talents and in this regard we are considering making Jordan the main link for our operations across the region.”
