Living cost index rises 2.2% in Saudi Arabia

The index of the cost of living rose by 2.2% in January 2015, in comparison with the same period of the last year.
In its monthly statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Department of Statistics and Information attributed the increase in the index of the cost of living to the rise in 11 sectors constituting the index.
The statement revealed that the index of the cost of living for the month of January registered 131.5 points, noting that it did not record any change in comparison to December 2014.
