Germany's Lufthansa airline said in Khartoum Saturday, September 15, it was suspending flights to the Sudanese capital for two weeks without giving a reason. An official in the company's office in Khartoum told reporters the suspension would be effective from Saturday until October 1.
The company has diverted bookings to Kenyan and Egyptian airlines, the official said, declining to reveal the reasons of the suspension but promising to do so later on. ― (AFP, Khartoum)
