The Dubai property developer, Fortune Group, recently awarded a Dh130 million contact for the construction of Dubai's new 'Fortune Executive Tower' to Malaysia's IJM Corporation. The planned tower will be one of the emirate's first to provide luxury duplex office spaces to interested parties.

The Fortune Executive Tower, located at the Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai, is set to be completed the end of year 2007, according to Gulf News. Launched in August 2005, the 35-storey Fortune Executive Tower has so far received overwhelming investor response as a result of its lucrative investment potential, with spaces being sold out in less than two months after its initial launch-date, say industry sources.

"We have always believed in working with partners who are the best in their field across all our projects. This significant contract for Fortune Executive Tower was no exception," explained Ahmad Khoory, chairman of Fortune Group.

"IJM was our obvious choice considering their strong credentials, experience in the region and since we have a working relationship with them on our first project," Khoory went on to point out.

The IJM Corporation currently has a spate of high profile projects as part of its credentials, making it an established player in the Middle East's construction sector.
