Marrakech is hosting a seminar on cultural aspects of South America between March 23 and March 25 with the participation of intellectuals and experts from the Arab World and South America.
<i>Emarrakech</i> reports that Habib El Malki, the minister responsible for the national education and scientific research, will be the chairperson of the opening session. According to an official statement, the objective of the seminar is to enhance the bonds between the Arab World and South America through the creation of new channels of communication, to reinforce the cultural exchanges and to promote the Arab Culture in South America and South American Culture in the Arab states. Two other similar cultural seminars on the dialogue between South America and the Arab World and the aspects of the Arab culture took place in September 2004 in Sao Paulo (Brazil).
