Egyptian minister of transportation, Ibrahim Al-Dameiry, stated recently that the Arab Eastern African Countries are expected to sign a joint land transportation agreement in the near future, reported Al-Ahram newspaper.
Al-Dameiry made his comments shortly before leaving for Beirut, saying that the agreement, to be inked between members in the ESCWA (Economic and Social Committee of Western Asia), will consist of building a highways system between Egypt and the Arab east-African countries to promote multilateral trade. — (MENA Report)
