MasterCard to hold two-day conference in Dubai

MasterCard International will hold a two-day annual meeting in Dubai on May 2-3 that will focus on 'Maximizing Opportunities through Technology' in the Middle East and North Africa region.  

 

The meeting is designed to further equip Mastercard’s member banks with knowledge and tools to meet the new marketing and technology challenges facing the payment solutions industry. It will also discuss competitive e-commerce strategies and acquisition tactics as a means of penetrating the business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. 

 

Over three hundred bankers from 11 countries across the Middle East, including CEOs and Chairmen, are to participate in the meeting.  

 

The conference is to feature presentations by the senior members of MasterCard's global team, including Art Kranzley—Senior Vice President e-business group—who will speak of person to person value exchange, Pascal Dufour—Senior Manager New Products Introduction of Europay International—will examine Chip developments, and Randall Wheeler will touch upon payment solutions for the Youth market. Regional heads of Oracle, IBM and Microsoft will address the issue of e-business developments and solutions within their respective companies. — (Albawaba-MEBG)
