Jabal Omar Development Company works will offer companies and institution interested in commercial investments a total of 172 commercial sites in an auction next Saturday (September 24), reported the Saudi newspaper, Al-Watan on September 20, 2005.
The project is located on Ibrahim al-Khalil Street opposite to the Haram of Mecca. The commercial sites, which will include restaurants and various shops, are needed for serving Muslim pilgrims. The investment period in these sites will be 4 months. The initial price in the auction, according to Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper will be 100 Saudi Rials ($26) in an approved check.
