The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) has confirmed that MEDIAC Communication and Promotion is to organize its annual Ramadan 'Dubai City That Cares' event for a second consecutive year.
The second Ramadan International Products Fair 2002, an international consumer products fair, will bring a variety of goods from the local market, the Middle East region, Europe, Africa and the Far East in halls one and two of Dubai World Trade Center.
Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will run throughout the Dubai City That Cares event, from November 11 to December 4, 2002. Dubai the City that Cares 2002 will take place from November 2 until December 12, 2002.
Commenting on MEDIAC's participation in Dubai City That Cares, Abdulrahman Al-Mutaiwee, DCCI director general, said: “The exhibition will include Dubai Charity Forum IV, and Mediac has assigned 22 stands for charity and nonprofit organizations, in addition to donating an amount of money by the end of the exhibition for charity purposes.”
He continues, “Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will be the perfect venue for wholesalers and retailers to promote new products and brands to large numbers of consumers, while at the same time contributing to the good causes associated with this year's Dubai City That Cares, namely the Red Crescent and UNICEF.”
In 2001, more than 35,000 people visited Ramadan International Products Fair. In addition to showcasing technology products, décor items, fashion goods and educational products, Ramadan International Products Fair 2002 will celebrate the culture, heritage and traditions of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with live entertainment, according to a company press release. — (menareport.com)
