ALBAWABA - At the International Motor Show (IAA) in Munich, Mercedes and BMW have revealed their latest electric concept cars.

Mercedes asserts that these vehicles will boast an impressive 750-kilometer range on a single charge, with the ability to be rapidly charged in just 15 minutes, providing an additional 400 kilometers of travel outperforming the Tesla Model 3 with a Single Charge at 650 Kilometers.

Mercedes-Benz's Concept CLA Class is built upon the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), a brand-new platform tailored for electric vehicles. This lineup encompasses four new models, including a four-door coupe, an estate model, and two sports utility vehicles.

Mercedes places a strong emphasis on interior design and user experience, introducing its proprietary operating system, MB.OS. This system will power a multitude of features, ranging from a colossal dashboard screen to an in-car voice assistant.

The BMW Vision Neue Klasse, on the other hand, serves as BMW's response to Tesla's electric dominance.

It's built on a novel architecture that will serve as the foundation for future BMW electric vehicles, with the first slated for production in 2025.

The concept vehicle boasts a striking glass roof and classic BMW design elements, although post-reveal discussions have raised questions about this.

It also incorporates a head-up display named Panoramic Vision, offering critical information at eye level on the windshield.

Both Mercedes and BMW are making determined efforts to challenge Tesla's stronghold in the electric vehicle market, promising innovation in design, range, and user experience.
