Metrofile Middle East, a subsidiary of M’Sharie LLC, the venture capital arm of Dubai Investments & Al Serkal Group, has commenced an expansion program designed to consolidate its market share of the regional information storage industry.  The move sees Metrofile, a leading information management provider, open a new branch in Dubai Internet City to cater to the increasing number of businesses outsourcing their Records storage requirements.

“Demand for professional Records storage facilities is soaring throughout the Middle East as the high cost of renting or buying office space has made in-house storage less viable.  We are getting large orders from an increasing number of companies and organisations and to cater to this demand we have opened storage facilities in Abu Dhabi in addition to our new branch in Dubai to meet our space requirements,” said André Le Roux, General Manager, Metrofile Middle East.

“We are delighted to open our Dubai Internet City branch as our new location will improve access to our large number of clients in that area and boost our regional profile to contribute to increased market penetration,” le Roux added.

Metrofile specialises in records storage for active and inactive documents and offers off-site and on-site document storage and computer backup storage & rotation, in addition to various scanning & electronic document management solutions.  Metrofile has a portfolio of high-ranking clients including government organisations, local and multi-national companies and banks.

Metrofile holds the International Professional Records & Information Services Management (PRISM) accreditation & been awarded the Dubai Quality Award for leadership, innovation and improvement of its industry.

“Outsourcing Records storage provides businesses with an opportunity to cut costs, maximise information safety and optimise efficiency. Although the amount of paper-based information may be declining, the bulk of technological information being produced has created the need for innovate and specialised storage facilities with a focus on digital document retrieval,” Le Roux added.
