Executives with Microsoft Business Solutions Middle East and Africa have confirmed big plans for their participation in GITEX 2002, that will include the launch of new products, demonstration of integrated solutions and hosting of its annual invite-only 'Stampede-to-Dubai' channel reseller workshop.
Navision a/s—a provider of integrated business solutions for mid-market customers—was recently acquired by Microsoft and has become part of Microsoft Business Solutions. Two of its products, Axapta and Attain, addressing supply-chain management and manufacturing solutions respectively, will be on display at the Microsoft stand.
The company will also be educating exhibition attendees on the benefit of its new Microsoft Customer Relationship Management (CRM)—the first Microsoft business solution built on .NET.
“The introduction of the new CRM offering represents a substantial business opportunity for our partners to deliver an entirely new category of integrated solutions specifically designed for the unique needs of our small and medium-sized customers in the region,” said Chris Harris, regional director, Microsoft Business Solutions Middle East Africa.
Finally, Microsoft Business Solutions will be hosting its annual ‘Stampede-to-Dubai' channel reseller workshop, an opportunity for Microsoft Business Solutions partners from across the region to come together to share ideas with one another on how best to add value to customer implementations, as well as engage in knowledge sharing on products and programs. The annual stampede event in Dubai is marked with the presentation of ‘excellence awards' for outstanding channel partner performance.
