Mindware, a leading IT distributor in the Middle East and one of the premier Microsoft Authorised distributors in UAE, Oman, Yemen, Jordan and Lebanon, has announced a market expansion for its Microsoft portfolio into Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. The company will leverage its regional stronghold and extensive distribution network in order to ensure maximum market reach for Microsoft’s Volume License programs, which offer simple, flexible and cost-effective solutions for license management.

With the industry-leading products, Mindware is set to target small to medium-scale businesses and educational institutions and expects to capture considerable market share in both sectors of the booming IT markets. The company will bring cutting-edge yet economical volume license solutions from Microsoft including Open License, Open Value and School Agreements as well as Full Packaged Products (FPP). Each license program has custom features and benefits, which is designed to cater to the various size, requirements and purchasing preferences of a medium-scale business or a secondary school.

“With the addition of Microsoft products to our portfolio in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain, we intend to grow the business together with our partners by creating a truly symbiotic relationship. Microsoft products have consistently enjoyed strong demand pull in these markets where we previously catered to the enterprise segment, and our latest expansion will leverage the competitive edge of our companies in order to tap the mid-market and SMB segments. We expect to earn 30-40 per cent in additional revenues, as these countries have rapidly expanding IT sectors and higher adoption of legal software," said Jeff Jacob, Microsoft Product Manager, Mindware.

Mindware has successfully penetrated the regional market with sustained stronghold in UAE, KSA, Lebanon and Egypt. The company has witnessed multi-million annual revenues with 2006 earnings reaching USD 190 million. The first IT distributor to be awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification in the Middle East.

“Our solid performance and long-standing relationship with Microsoft have spurred them to appoint our company as distributor in the Northern Gulf. With these cutting-edge products and our dedicated Microsoft sales consultants, who are certified and have extensive experience in marketing the global brand, we are set to sustain our stronghold and revenue growth,” concluded Jacob.
