During her first official visit to Dubai, Miss UK 2004, Danielle Lloyd visited the Nakheel Sales Centre on Al Sufouh Road recently. During the visit, she was escorted on a special one-hour long sightseeing boat tour organised by Nakheel in order to get a feel for The onshore developments in particular The Palms.
During the boat tour, Wahid Attalla, Executive Director for Nakheel, explained that these reclamation developments sat perfectly with the vision of Dubai and that Nakheel were at this moment translating from concept into reality. The boat tour travelled from The Palm Marina at the top of the trunk out into the Arabian Gulf and between the crescent and the crown, giving Miss UK an opportunity to see the construction of the villas on the fronds of The Palm Jumeirah.
Commenting during the meeting, Attalla said, “The Palm and The World are recognised as the most unique projects being created and will serve as a tourist and commercial hub for Dubai. We have always been ahead with detailed planning, research and development. Adding to Dubai 400 kilometres of beach front, confirming Dubai as a top destination for all people from around the world. "
