Fledgling leisure contracting company, Mivan Depa LLC, has confirmed that it will exhibit at the Theme Parks & Fun Centres Exhibition (TPFC) 2005, Dubai International Exhibition Centre, 24-26 April.
The announcement marks the official debut of the company, which was formed in February this year between Dubai-headquartered DEPA LLC and Northern Irish company Mivan Ltd to offer specialized themed interiors for development and entertainment projects in the Middle East.
Established 30 years ago, DEPA LLC is the Middle East’s premier hotel interiors contracting company whose credentials include such prestigious projects as Burj al Arab Dubai, Four Seasons Nile Plaza Cairo and ُEmirates Palace Hotel Abu Dhabi.
Northern Ireland headquartered, Mivan Ltd was set up in 1975 and is a telecommunications network rollouts, interiors, theming, formwork and general contracting company. It was the single biggest theming contractor to work on the original build of Euro Disney, Paris.
Prior to the formation of Mivan Depa LLC, Mivan had, however, already established a strong foothold in the Dubai construction sector having secured contracts with Arabtec Construction to supply the formwork for both Al Fattan Towers. It has also been appointed by Al Shafar General Contracting Company LCC to supply its specialist system formwork to Dubai’s Golden Sands Tower, a high-rise residential development. Its international client base includes Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Walt Disney, Euro Disneyland and Legoland.
According to forecasts, projects such as the Dubailand will help drive inbound tourism to more than 15 million during the next three years.
