International coffee franchisee Costa Coffee has opened their seventh outlet in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), at the Dubai International Airport. Located at the viewer's gallery, which is situated above the departure lounge of the airport, the 24-hour outlet will cater outbound passengers.
The airport's present annual footfall is around 12 million passengers, a major element in considering the venue for this new outlet, said Piers Burton, corporate marketing controller for Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI).
The new Costa Coffee outlet offers a view of the runway and seats for 30 people on its premises. Costa Coffee shares space with other food outlets at the 500-seating airport food court.
MMI presently owns seven Costa Coffee outlets in Dubai—at the Dubai International Airport, Deira City Centre, City Tower 2, Century Village, Spectrum Building, Dubai Internet City and the new Dubai Airline Centre. — (menareport.com)
