MobileCom prepaid customers can now on send and receive SMS while traveling abroad in more than 90 countries. “Building on our achievement of being the first operator in the Middle East to launch prepaid roaming service, today, we are the first operator in the Arab world to provide SMS for prepaid users while roaming,” said Erick Valette, chief marketing officer at MobileCom.
MobileCom is the Jordanian public mobile telephone network operator and is the operator of the mobile communications license granted to Jordan Telecom. MobileCom is a member of the Jordan Telecom Group that also includes e-Dimensions and Global One. The company has launched its full public service in Jordan on September 15, 2000. — (menareport.com)
