Additional Bahraini families are set to benefit from the nationwide housing rehabilitation scheme, thanks to a change in the criteria by which applications are judged. According to the GDN, the plan aims at rebuilding or renovating thousands of homes for needy families.
It will include families who have had renovation loans of BD10,000 or less, within the last 15 years, provided they meet all the other criteria, an official was quoted as saying by the daily.
