The Moroccan investment commission approved earlier this week several investment projects amounting to MD2.7 billion (Euro 270 million), a communiqué of the Prime Minister’s office said.
The commission’s meeting, presided over by Prime Minister, Driss Jettou, considered 13 investment projects eligible to asistance by the Hassan II Fund for Economic and Social Development. These projects, to cost MD419.6 million, are entitled to a MD29.4 million aid and will create 2,591 jobs.
The projects, to be implemented in the towns of Casablanca, Tangier, Temara, Bouznika, Fez, Berrechid and Mohammedia, include the textile and leather industry and automobile equipment. (menareport.com)
