Iraqi Vice President Taha Yassin Ramadan opened a Moroccan trade fair in Baghdad Sunday, April 1, with more than 100 exhibitors participating.
On display were medical equipment, clothing, food and electronic equipment, as well as buses and cars.
The fair coincides with a visit to Iraq by Morocco's Trade Minister Mustafa Mansuri, who arrived in Baghdad Thursday heading a 160-strong delegation including ministers, bankers and businessmen.
The Moroccan minister is here to attend a meeting of the joint Moroccan-Iraqi cooperation committee, established to promote bilateral economic and trade relations. The trade fair will run until Wednesday. — (AFP, Baghdad)
