Morocco and Iran are further increasing their commercial and diplomatic closeness by signed a deal that will bring together their marine interests. The negotiations took place in Casablanca, Morocco’s main commercial city, and lasted three days as experts between the two countries debated significant areas of cooperation, according to the leading Moroccan newspaper, Le Matin. The Moroccan director of the Marine Market, Azzeddine Diouri and Ismail Arkab, head of the Iranian ports authority, eventually came to an agreement. The agreement is the culmination of an involved diplomatic process.
