Royal Air Maroc’s brand new budget airline, Atlas Blue, is planning to transport around 1 million passengers between Europe and Morocco in the first year of its operation, according to its commercial director, Karim Benchekroun. The comments were made in a press conference in Lyon aimed at promoting the airline among travel operators to Morocco.
The company was first created in May 2004, and has three weekly links between Lyon and Marrakech, Brussels, four times a week, four weekly flights from London, one from Zurich, two from Geneva and one from Amsterdam.
