Sinochem, China-based exporter of agrochemicals, signed a cooperation agreement with OCP (Office Cherifien des Phosphates), the state-owned agency responsible for the Benguerir, Khouribga and Youssoufia mines in central Morocco, on Sunday September 4 in Casablanca.

Under this agreement, which was signed by Mourad Sherif, General Manager of OCP, and by Of Keeping, vice president of Sinochem, Morocco will annually provide China with 750,000 tons of phosphate enriched fertilizers over the period 2007-2011. Current export volume of Morocco to China is 200,000 tons per year.

Sinochem ranked eighth in the 2005 Top 500 Chinese Companies list, which was published last month.
