Dubai-based MTE Studios, a consultancy firm specializing in themed architecture and interactive exhibitions, well known for their turnkey themed projects and world-class installations in science centers and museum galleries worldwide will have a presence at the exhibition booth and provide high profile speakers at the upcoming NAMES 2nd General Assembly Meeting (NAMES 2010) to be held on 16-17 October, 2010 at the Scientific Center of Kuwait (TSCK).
Ludo Verheyen, CEO of MTE Studios and Professor Mike Bruton will address museum & science center professionals from around the world at the two day conference where the consultancy firm will have a team available at stand 7 of the exhibition. The theme of the conference “Science for Improved Knowledge and Prosperity” will bring together international speakers and exhibitors from around the world to discuss progressive innovations that lead to the creation of new industries
Speaking on turnkey solutions for the establishment of museums in the region, Ludo Verheyen will share his experience in overcoming some of the legal, administrative, cultural, linguistic and technical challenges that can emerge when setting up a new experience centre in the region. A strong emphasis will be placed on the need for holistic, consultative planning and the efficient integration of international teams of experts.
Ludo has led major projects in the UAE and beyond, including the design of the magnificent Ibn Battuta Mall, conceptualising the masterplan for Dubailand and providing products and services such as activity zones, multimedia, interactive applications that enthral the viewer and inspire the gaining of knowledge through fun and experimentation.

Based on the experience gained worldwide in the science Centre field, Professor Mike Bruton of MTE Studios will provide an overview of the experience of presenting historic science using cutting-edge modern techniques. The new Museum of Science and Technology in Islam at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia is a prime example.
