MTV Europe plans to hold its first ever live event in the Middle East, as part of its pan-European Motomash tour on March 17.
The Kasbar at Dubai’s One & Only Royal Mirage will be the scene of the event, headlined by an exclusive presentation from DJ Touché and Dubai-based DJ Yasa and the Kasbar’s resident DJ, Casablanca-born DJ Simon.
The traveling MTV Motomash party will feature “mashing”, which involves mixing together tracks from two different musical genres to create a brand new track. Excerpts from the event and DJ interviews will be recorded for broadcast on MTV Mash.
In partnership with Motorola, the MTV Motomash tour has already visited Stockholm, Cape Town, Moscow, Warsaw, Berlin and London, following Dubai, is set to send Amsterdam Paris and Lisbon spinning throughout April and May.
