Nepalese nationals seeking employment in Qatar would soon be offered the facilities of taking loans from the kingdom's Nabil Bank, to pay the recruitment agent or buy a house in their hometown, the bank's general manager, Anil Shah, said.
Such workers however would have to furnish collateral such as their house, as the guarantee for the loans, as was required by the kingdom's laws, he added, according to <i>The Peninsula</i>.
Shah is in Doha to attend the Non Resident Nepalese conference which concludes Sunday at the Doha Marriott hotel.
