Nakheel, the UAE’s leading property developer, is hosting a comprehensive exhibition of residential and non-residential construction products, technologies and services in the region. Nakheel is the first development company in Dubai to initiate and host such an exhibition.

Nakheel Suppliers Expo 2005 runs from 5 – 7 June at Madinat Arena and Johara Ballroom at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The event is hosted by Nakheel and organized by Al Thurayya Exhibition and Conference Organising. The Expo was officially opened by Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, Nakheel. He said, "Nakheel Suppliers Expo 2005 again illustrates that Nakheel is at the forefront of innovation and leading the way in responding to the needs of the market. This is the first time a development company in Dubai has hosted such an exhibition, and with such a variety of top class exhibitors and high profile Nakheel decision makers and associates all under one roof, the Expo is a great opportunity to exchange ideas, enhance relationships and forge new business partnerships."

The show has attracted over 100 exhibitors from 10 different countries, profiling state-of-the-art products and services relating to Construction, Property Development, Facilities Management, as well as Building and Home Technologies.

The products and services at the show are defined by being at the cutting-edge of innovation and of being of the highest quality; we have already had excellent initial feedback on this inaugural show."

Upon opening, exhibitors were impressed by the quality of the Expo. Shin Unzai, Deputy General Manager of Marubeni,  was  promoting their solar powered water purification unit "the Water Beetle."
