National Car Rental, a global car and truck rental organization, has opened new offices in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with an exclusive agreement with The Al-Tayer Group. The new business has begun operation with three offices. Further expansion to the northern and southern Emirates is planned for later this year.

This is the global brand's first venture into the UAE market. "With the growing number of tourists, business travelers and new expatriates, the timing was right to expand into this market", said UAE General Manager, Ahmad Ayyash.

The new franchise is part of ANC Rental Corporation's global operations, with corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a presence in 75 countries. ANC, who also own the leisure car rental brand Alamo, has an international fleet size in excess of 400,000 vehicles and the company currently services over 15 million people across the globe with a range of the latest cars, vans and trucks.

ANC has established a corporate office for the Middle East based in Dubai. This office is designed as a full support facility for all pan-Arab operations as the system develops and is the link between the Middle East and ANC global operations. — (menareport.com)
