NCR Corporation has signed a $6.7 million multiyear contract with Turkey’s Yapi Kredi Bank (YKB) to provide hardware maintenance and support services for the bank's Personas automated teller machines (ATMs).
YKB is one of the top four Turkish banks in terms of total assets and has a strong position in the retail banking sector. The bank currently has over 420 domestic branches and a network of 1,370 ATMs. It handles 30 percent of Turkey's credit card business and is actively involved in providing trade finance and specialized services to local producers and companies involved in import-export business.
YKB has had a long-standing relationship with NCR both in terms of hardware and software solutions and through the company's Channel Partner Program, whereby NCR has supported the bank's internal maintenance of its ATM network. When YKB decided to outsource the maintenance of its Personas ATMs, NCR was one of a number of companies to compete for this business.
NCR's ATMs, retail systems, Teradata warehouses and information technology (IT) services provide Relationship Technology solutions that maximize the value of customer interactions. Based in the United States, NCR employs approximately 30,500 people worldwide. — (menareport.com)
