Initial construction work on a 1.13 million Jordanian dinar ($1.59 million) intersection in Amman’s upscale Shmeisani neighborhood will begin in mid-January and is expected to take four months to complete, according to Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) officials.
The tender to for the construction of the two-way overpass, developed to alleviate traffic congestion in the capital, was awarded in early-November to a local contracting company, reported the Jordan Times. — (menareport.com)
